Fugue launch at London Review Bookshop

Last night was the launch party for Fugue: A Collection of Contemporary Short Stories edited by Lucy Carroll and published by The Siren. Fantastic evening with readings from me, Brandon Robshaw, Darren Lee and Neill Randall. Tracy Fells was also there. Must say I really enjoyed the event, and all credit must go to Lucy Carroll for the quality of the finished book and the evening she put on to launch it. The book itself has a wide ranging selection of stories, I haven’t read them all yet but from a taste of the readings last night there should be something for people who enjoy humour, slipstream and much else besides. Here’s a me doing my reading from my story, ‘The Institute’.  I didn’t have my reading glasses so had to borrow some from my friend Jules.

Fugue booklaunch at London Review Bookshop October 24th

My short story, “The Institute”, is in Fugue, a collection of contemporary short stories. The book is to be launched at the London Review Bookshop on October 24th beginning at 7pm. I’ll be there. This looks set to be a great evening for an exciting new collection.
